Instructions on how to complete your window panes:
Top left- term
Top right- example and opposite (these do not have to be literal!)
Explanation - the term "atom" means the smallest piece of an element that still has the properties and behaviors of that element.
Your example could be " a lego piece"
your opposite could then be " the lego deathstar"
HINT- your word list will usually have some obvious opposites in it!
Bottom left - describe what the term means- I've given you the definitions you need, now read them and describe what the term means in your own words- DON'T just re-write my definition- simplify it the best you can in YOUR OWN WORDS.
Bottom right- illustration- draw out either what the term represents or your example of what the term signifies to you. Does not have to be a literal example of the term- Never draw the opposite!
Illustrations must contain at least 3 different colors (not including white or regular lead pencil as colors :)
Window pane homework will be averaged and assigned a project/ test grade each 9 weeks.
Do your homework= get a 100 test grade!
WANT EXTRA CREDIT ON EVERY TEST! create a mind map for every word list! This will add 5 points to your test- you can earn 5 point for every list- you will have 4 or 5 lists each grading period so that's a potential of up to 25 additional points added to your lowest TEST grade for the 9 weeks.
